While making the changes in the programs, the Australian government has focused on a specific age group as the eligibility criteria for the Post-Vocational Education Work Stream application and Post-study Work Stream. Everyone will necessarily have to be within 35 years of age to be eligible to apply for different work streams, according to a report by The Financial Express.

If any applicant fails to be in the above-mentioned age category to apply for the Post-Vocational Education Work stream application, they may get other choices for different visa pathways. They can surely remain in Australia for longer only if they succeed in choosing an alternate direction.

Let’s take a look at more new changes:

  • Applicants will need to have a diploma, trade qualification, or associate degree connected to the nominated occupation on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills to be applicable for the Post-Vocational Education Workstream.
  • The revamped rules also include new options where Temporary Graduate visa holders are allowed to stay in Asutralia even after finishing their educational degrees. This chance has been provided for international students to have the option to join workplaces and gain experience. According to the Australian government, these changes for Temporary Graduate Visa programs will come into action from July 1, 2024.
