1. Dubai RTA Holds 9th Annual Open Day For Health, Safety, And Environment

Recently Dubai RTA held its 9th annual Open Day for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). This was under the theme of ‘Horizons & Aspects of Sustainability’ and attracted a distinguished group of experts and officials from outside the RTA. In fact, the initiative aligns with the UAE’s direction to extend the Year of Sustainability into 2024.

2. International Symposium On Supporting The Development of Camel Milk Sector Organised

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture Food & Safety Authority has collaborated with the Global Food Regulatory Science Society to organise an international symposium on Supporting the Development of the Camel Milk Sector. This event was underway till September 25 and was happening in Abu Dhabi. The aim of the event was to promote camel livestock and their importance in food security.

3. Avios Can Be Collected On Deutsche Bahn

Taking to their official account on X, Qatar Airways revealed that the Qatar Airways Privilege Club members can now collect Avios. Yes, they can do so, especially on Qatar Airways’ first railway partner Deutsche Bahn. This can be done during their train journeys as they have a QR flight code. Yes, this connects with a Qatar Airways international flight!

4. Oryx Airport Hotel Wins The Most Hygienic Hotel In Qatar

Hamad International Airport’s Oryx Airport Hotel was awarded the ‘Most Hygienic Hotel in Qatar’. This recognition was accorded to them at the Haute Grandeur Hotel Awards 2024. This reflects the hotel’s dedication towards delivering world-class hospitality. Additionally, this hotel also won Best Interior Design (Global), Best Spa Destination in the Middle East, Best Fitness Spa (Global), and Best Spa Team in the Middle East for its Vitality Wellbeing & Fitness Center.

5. GDRFA Celebrates Saudi National Day

GDRFA celebrated the 94th Saudi National Day. And expressing the depth of the fraternal and strategic ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, the airport staff welcomed Saudi passengers in a warm way. Yes, they were presented with souvenirs and scarves that would bear the flags of the two countries.
