Beautiful Pictures Of A Cafe At Kurseong Railway Station Have Netizens In Disbelief As It Looks Ethereal!

You all must be aware of the “guess the place” tweets that are posted by India’s railway minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw. He keeps posting glimpses of new railway stations on Twitter with a hint and asks netizens to guess them. In a similar fashion, he again posted some pictures and asked the netizens to guess them. The only difference was that the pictures were of a cafe at Kurseong railway station and not a new railway station. 

Pictures Of A Cafe In Kurseong Railway Station

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw posted pictures on Twitter and a hint that read, ‘at a railway station’. The pictures looked straight from some gorgeous English cottage or some upscale cafe. With wood beams lining the ceiling, a huge chandelier hanging, and a beautiful white staircase, this place looks simply ethereal. The cosy aesthetics used in the interiors of the cafe, simply added to its plush beauty. 

Beautiful stairways and sale kiosks with coffee, tea, and mocktail options can be seen in the pictures. Many users speculated that the location might be Kurseong, a small village in Darjeeling. The town in West Bengal is well-known as “the land of white orchids” because of the numerous white orchids that adorn the hillside. These pictures were from a cafe at Kurseong railway station, operated by Darjeeling Himalayan Railways.

Ministry Of Railways Too Dropped A Hint

As soon as Ashwini posted the pictures of this cafe at Kurseong station, many people began guessing the place. The tweet has by far garnered about 2.5 million views on Twitter. The tweet was shared by many people, and some of them actually thought of this as a railway station as Ashwini always posts pictures of new railway stations. Clearing the air, walked in the Ministry of Railways, which said that it was a cafeteria. 

 In January 2023, the minister posted pictures of a mesmerising railway station from India and asked netizens to guess it. The pictures featured snow-clad mountains and offered the most picturesque view, which teleported people to a foreign land. Many people guessed that the photos were from Kashmir.
