Ordering food from restaurants, cafes, and eateries and getting them delivered in just some time is one of my favourite things to do. Not just me, many foodies love bahaar ka khaana. These dishes might be more appetising than ghar ka khaana but none of us are that certain about their cleanliness or hygiene. We often hear stories about people finding insects or anything dirty in their food orders. This time, we came across an incident where a man noticed a metal piece inside a shawarma.
A Swiggy Customer Found A Metal Piece In His Order

It was about 2 days ago when this man placed an order on Swiggy. He ordered a Shawarma from Absolute Shawarma located near the JMJ Hospital in Bengaluru’s Nagawara. After receiving the delivery, he started eating it as usual. While he was eating the shawarma, he found a metal piece stuffed inside. He was quite surprised to see that piece and it seemed to be a metal piece from the flame grill used to make the shawarma. Seeing the pictures shared on Reddit, it looks like he even ate a part of the dish.
Without any delay, the customer contacted the Swiggy Support Agent and informed them about this frightening incident. He asked about what action would be taken against the restaurant from where the shawarma was ordered. Also, he mentioned about getting a complete refund. In addition to all these, he specifically mentioned getting a new shawarma delivered to his doorstep without him ordering it once again.
After some time, the Swiggy Support Agent replied that they could get him a refund of ₹50 as a token of apology. “Are you freaking kidding me”, asked the customer. To which the agent replied that Swiggy could not fulfill the request as per the policies.
