Where Did The First Store Open?
The journey has kicked off in Bengaluru, where the first store is now open. Don’t be disappointed if you don’t live here. The brand plans to expand into major metro cities across India. The vision is big but well-planned. Over the next five years, The Gourmet Cafe aims to open 65 stores nationwide and build a strong café network backed by global dessert collaborations.
The expansion has already started gaining momentum. The company has signed agreements with four malls and plans to launch six stores this year in key high-demand markets. With this move, the brand is clearly betting big on India’s growing appetite for premium desserts.
On this collaboration, Masthan Adam, Founder & CEO of The Gourmet Café, said, “We see strong demand in India for globally recognised dessert brands and premium café experiences. Bringing The Cheesecake Factory Bakery to India is a significant step in our journey to introduce world-class dessert offerings to Indian consumers through The Gourmet Café platform.”
