Nobody does Pesarattu Dosa the way Madhuban does it. Pure humble flavours coupled with the goodness of Sattvic style of cooking.
What Is It?
Madhuban is the result of a mother’s journey. Her attempt to offer pure food; home cooked food. An Andhra Brahmin, she grew up eating coastal Andhra cuisine; food that was organic and pure vegetarian, and cooked in true Sattvic manner. So, this kind of food is not only delicious but calming on the stomach and mind too. As she shifted base to North India with her son, she struggled to find food that was special to her palette. Hence, started the germination of Madhuban.
What’s In It?
Quaint little South India restaurant, Madhuban has a very refined ambience. From the décor to the food, and service – everything is simple, humble and soulful. Now, they offer authentic flavours from the southern nations of India with much love. The food is tasty and healthy. Also, the staff will ensure you feel like home. Additionally, the food is super pocket-friendly. So, binge at your heart’s content!
What To Eat?
They make the most authentic Pesarattu Dosa. It is basically Andhra Dosa made of whole green grams and served with traditional Andhra ginger chutney. Also, we love their Pesarattu Upma – which is Pesarattu stuffed with Sooji Upma served with traditional Andhra ginger chutney. Apart from these, they also offer yummy options like Podi Utthapam, Besi Bela Bhaat, Pav Bhaji, Aloo Masala, Rava Dosa, Andhra Thali, Mysore Dosa, Andhra Meal, Mysore Cheese Dosa, Rasam with Papad, Chilli Idli and more.
What To Drink?
Although the beverages options are limited, we love the Buttermilk, Coconut Water, Masala Chai and Filter Coffee.
