Bhaskar’s Puranpoli Ghar situated at Naupada in Thane West is just as its name suggests, a house that serves puran poli. The large eatery is a welcoming space for people craving a hot plate of puran poli, prepared right in of them. The staff roll the dough, add the chosen filling and prepare the puran poli on the hot tawa, in a synchronised manner at the live counter. It’s simply fascinating to watch them prepare your order. While this is the first such eatery in Maharashtra, it has 11 other branches in Bangalore. The idea behind the Puran Poli Ghar was to help women of the household, take a break from the hectic preparations of puran poli. And instead treat them to a fresh batch of the festive dessert, made hot and delicious.
