Kusha Kapila and Shilpa Shetty are an extremely hilarious duo! We enjoyed every bit of their laughter riot and were happy to have them on our show. For this episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met Kusha Kapila and Shilpa Shetty. They talked endlessly about food, so there had to be conversations about the typical Delhi v/s Mumbai food debate, social media, mental health and more. We learned about Kusha Kapila and Shilpa Shetty’s son having a similar likeness to a particular flavour.
Which Flavour Is Liked By Kusha Kapila And Shilpa Shetty’s Son?
We were finishing up this fabulous episode at Cream Centre in Mumbai with a bubbling and yummy dessert, brownie ice cream with melted chocolate on a hot plate. Kusha Kapila and Shilpa Shetty were very excited to dig in and Kusha poured over the melted chocolate. They all devoured spoonfuls of the dessert! Kusha just said, “I like a little sour and sweet.” To this end, Kamiya asked her what she was talking about, as she was completely oblivious to it.
Kusha Kapila explained that it was a twister that used to be of the flavour sour and she adores it. Shilpa Shetty added, “It’s a thing. My son loves flavours like that,” while making a face as if she could taste the sour flavour on her tongue. Then she just said that she doesn’t understand someone’s likeness towards sour flavours.

They Drew A Parallel Between Their Film, Sukhee & Real Life
Kusha Kapila pointed out how mothers often joke about leaving the house. However, Shilpa Shetty’s character in Sukhee actually does, which is a lot more rebellious than just uttering those words. She points out that she has seen her mother go off for a walk to cool off her anger or go to a park or temple when the household and the people in it are a lot to handle.
Kusha continued, “I have seen it is very common and I have spoken to a lot of other friends and their moms also used to do that.” Then she went on to talk about when it actually happens in this film; it is interesting to know what all goes down in the house.
