On this recent Sunday Brunch episode, the beautiful and talented ladies, Shilpa Shetty along with Kusha Kapila joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. The laughs, the puns and the love for food never stopped on this exciting episode. So much so that they couldn’t stop cracking jokes one after the other and pulling each other’s legs. Raj Kachori Was Served To Shilpa Shetty & Kusha Kapila
We wanted to treat Shilpa Shetty and Kusha Kapila to the yummest of dishes belonging to the cities of Mumbai and Delhi. Hence, we did our Sunday Brunch at Cream Centre in Mumbai. They both came together for the first time in a film, Sukhee. Shilpa plays a Punjabi housewife in this film and it is her first film of the year. Having spent time together, they were cracking jokes left and right.
We couldn’t help but ignite the fire for these amazing puns. This is how we did it. Kamiya went on to list out all the food items they were supposed to relish. With the last food item, Kamiya specifically dedicated it to Shilpa Shetty which is ultimately for her husband, Raj Kundra. She said, “Ek dish aapke husband ke liye bhi dedicated hai.”

Without having any clue, Shilpa Shetty innocently asked what the food item was. Any guesses on what the dish was? Comment down below. To this Kamiya replied, “Raj Kachori!” This made everyone laugh out loud. To add to this laughter, Shilpa swiftly added, “I don’t know, I don’t think I wanna eat Raj in a kachori.”
Now, we didn’t expect the puns but that’s what we got. The jokes continued one after the other. The quick-witted Shilpa continued, “Will this kachori come with a mask?” This joke simply caused uncontrollable laughter! To elaborate on this, Raj Kundra is known for donning masks all the time and rarely shows his face to the media and audience.
After Raj Kachori, What Else She Likes To Eat
Raj and Kachoris were relished at Cream Centre, no, we meant Raj Kachori was relished at Cream Centre. After that, we couldn’t help but ask Shilpa Shetty what she loves to eat and were curious about her favourite food items. Shilpa enjoys indulging in a plate of “good, real kind of rabdi” and jalebis that are hot and fresh off the stove. She made it very clear that she doesn’t like when cornflour is used to make the rabdi. Rabdi should be made from fresh ingredients.
