Boys Forcefully And Inappropriately Apply Colour On A Japanese Tourist. Netizens Are Furious

Indians are in major shock after a video of some boys misbehaving with a foreign girl went viral on social media. A video is making several rounds on social media platforms where it can be seen that a group of boys are forcefully applying colours on a young girl even after she is trying to stop them. According to some videos on several platforms, the girl is a Japanese tourist who came to India. Netizens are infuriated after watching the group of young boys behaving like that.

Though The Japanese Tourist Tried To Get Rid Of The Guys, They Grabbed & Applied Colour To Her

A Twitter user named Sweety who goes by the username @Sweety52216366 shared a video of this incident on her Twitter account. Here’s the video of the young boys forcefully grabbing the Japanese tourist and doing all the wrong things.

It can be seen in the video that some young boys are inappropriately holding and hugging her, applying and rubbing colours to her face and neck, beating an egg on her head, throwing foam at her body, and whatnot.

This Was Her First Ever Holi Celebration

The Japanese tourist played Holi for the first time this year when she visited India. Unfortunately, this group of boys portrayed the entirely opposite picture of how Holi is celebrated in the country. According to Reddit, this girl later shared that she will never play Holi and, in fact, will never leave her house on this day.

Twitterati Is Enraged!

Many Twitter users are commenting on the tweet about such painful behaviours by these young boys. While India is known for its diverse cultures, festivals, love, and warmth among everyone, these boys just represented our country in the worst way possible.

Here are some reactions of the Netizens:

Indian filmmaker Onir has also retweeted the video and talked about how he feels horrific to see “a festival that is supposed to be fun and beautiful is turned into a nightmare by these morons for women across the country”. He also shared that “the police should take serious action and punish all those participating in such harassment”.

Some Tweeple are also citing that the video is old.

What do you think of this incident? Is it okay to grab someone without consent and throw colours at him/her just because it is Holi or is this a clear example of how ill-behaved are these boys?
