The trailer of Ayan Mukherjee’s magnum opus Brahmastra is finally here and is a visual spectacle for the audience. In just 2:52 minutes, the trailer takes us through various old Indian temples, Lord Shiva, and the four elements of our Universe. The basic premise of the film is also seen as having connections with a certain temple in Varanasi. So here’s a little more insight into the fantasy world of Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva.

The Temple Town Varanasi’s Role In Brahmastra

A large and important part of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming fantasy film is shot in Varanasi. The pious city which infuses the spirit of Lord Shiva also forms an important part of the plot in Brahmastra. Nagarjuna, who plays an archaeologist in the film, is on his individual journey to restore a dilapidated temple in Varanasi. The film will take you 3000 years back in time and let you witness old myths that form the essence of our Indian culture. Throughout the trailer, the audience can see multiple shots of huge Indian temples. And since most of it is shot in Varanasi, we can look forward to witnessing the history of the city of temples on the big screen soon.
