What Is It?

Started by a couple, Jyotsna and Jurgen Grosser, the Cat Ashram is home to these adorable animals who have been rescued and saved by them and brought under their care.

They have turned their beautiful house into a Cat Ashram now and are looking for people who would love to adopt, donate and give lots of love and care to these cats.

The husband and wife are both cat lovers who are constantly looking for a safe space to provide these cats who are often found abandoned on the beaches of Goa. It started with a stray cat, who they named Ginger, and brought into their family. They sterilized Ginger and gave proper care that was needed.

Since then, they have been on a mission to spread awareness about sterilization of cats, rescuing strays, and abandoned cats and are looking for volunteers.

You have a space to go and play with the cats and spend a day with them. They’re ideally aiming to open a cat cafe space.
