With its new trip mode, Roam, the trans-inclusive dating app, Grindr is making it easy to be an LGBTQ+ travel enthusiast. Gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people can connect in many cities and countries thanks to this. Users can choose a new location for their profiles in the trip mode, which lasts for up to an hour. This gives users plenty of time to talk with new people about where to eat, stay, and play, as well as schedule a meeting time if they’d like. Later this year, Roam will be made available to all customers after undergoing testing in several global countries.
The Roam app lets users temporarily alter their location settings if they’re travelling, allowing them to get to know the best LGBTQ+-friendly places and residents before they even land. The service is rumoured to be adding an AI boyfriend as well. The transgender-inclusive dating app recently announced that it would be concentrating on features for “long-term dating, travel, and professional networking” to steer clear of the hookup culture.
