Hanuman Ansh’s Original Lead Actor Had To Exit Due To Illness
As Kamiya Jani points out, even the casting feels like divine intervention. The team had initially signed another actor to play Maharaj Ji, but he fell seriously ill and could no longer continue. With a tight budget and no room for prolonged delays, the makers could not afford to put production on hold.
Scrambling for a solution was hardly part of the plan, but the answer was already standing right there on set.
Enter Shobhinaw Satyaa, who had joined the film as an assistant director. The director, Vishal Chaturvedi, noticed an uncanny resemblance between him and Maharaj Ji. Shobhinaw also had a deep personal connection with the spiritual guru, and his appearance at the time made the resemblance even more striking.
