Chalo Canada! These Indian Cities Now Have Unlimited Flights Between India And Canada

Omar Alghabra, Minister of Transport, made an announcement about an expanded air transport agreement between Canada and India and its conclusion. According to the expanded agreement, designated airlines are allowed to operate unlimited flights between the two countries. The previous agreement on air transport between the two countries allowed only 35 flights per week to each country. Here are the Indian cities that will now offer unlimited flights between the two nations.

Indian Cities With Unlimited Flights To Canada

For further expansion of the agreement, the officials of both countries will contact each other. This move is said to be very beneficial. With this agreement, the airlines of both countries can easily respond to the needs put forth by the Canada-India air transport market. The cities that are not selected can be served through code-share services.

This expansion offers access for Canadian airlines to Indian cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, and Bengaluru. The Indian carriers have access to Canadian destinations like Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, Montreal, and two more cities that will be selected by India.

Available For Airlines’ Use Immediately

Canada’s Minister of Transport said that this expanded agreement is a positive development in terms of air transport relations between India and Canada. He said that Canada is pleased to expand this relationship so that growing markets can be served. Trade and investment between the two countries will be easier and faster. 

Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business, and Economic Development, Canada, spoke about India and Canada’s economic relationship. The new expansion of the agreement will offer Canada’s workers, businesses, and entrepreneurs access to new and better opportunities. Under the expansion, the new rights are available for use by the airlines immediately.
