After establishing the fact that he is more than just a celebrity chef, the conversation turned to his childhood, when he discovered his passion for food. Going more into his experiences as a kid, he addressed the fact that he wasn’t able to run like a normal kid until he was 13 years old. He shared that he suffered from a birth defect called clubbed foot that didn’t let him run without falling.

But once he turned 13, he refused to adjust and wear wooden support shoes. He wanted to wear normal shoes and run like a normal kid. With his mother by his side as his biggest cheerleader, he overcame his fear of falling, and since then, he has never looked back at that disability.
