The Island Of Love Started With Rejection

In the 17th century, Shah Jahan built the iconic Taj Mahal as an ode to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth. Now, in the 21st century, a Chinese man, Xu, built an entire island in the Hetou village in Yengde city to win back his girlfriend. The couple broke up in 2020. While Xu moved back to the countryside to take care of his elderly parents, he wasn’t ready to give up on his relationship. The determined lad then used his savings of 1,00,000 yuan ( ₹11,15,942) to transform a deserted island into a romantic haven.
