Golgappa isn’t just a snack, but a true addiction for many foodies. The crunchy semolina or flour puris with tangy waters inside them give a blast of flavours inside the mouth. Having said that, food vendors in different parts of India have given a sweet twist to golgappas by creating chocolatey versions of them. Yes, chocolate golgappa isn’t a new thing in the market. Social Foodie Inside of Delhi’s Vikaspuri had garnered loads of attention with the dish. However, the restaurant has been permanently closed now. But the dish remained in the hearts of dessert lovers. Now, a pani puri joint in Indore named Jain Shree Panipuri Sarafa is breaking the internet for making the dish.

Not Chutneys, This Chocolate Coated Golgappas Are Loaded With Choco Chips And Hershey’s Syrup

Digital creator Kalash Soni posted the video of the chocolate golgappas from Jain Shree Panipuri Sarafa on his Instagram handle mammi_ka_dhaba. The video has bagged over 194K likes and 2137 comments. In the video, the food vendor puts six chocolate-coated golgappas on a plate. Inside the golgappas, he puts chocolate chips, pieces of chocolate bar and cream. He then tops the golgappas with dollops of Hershey’s chocolate syrup and cashew nuts. A few netizens who came across the dish for the first time did not seem to be satisfied with it. Nevertheless, the end product looks utterly drool-worthy.

Chocolate golgappas can be relished in several cities in India other than Indore. It can be tried out at Jalandhar’s Manni Golgappe and Chaat wale, Mumbai’s Grass & Gossips and also Kolkata’s Fuchkawala. A Youtube page named Kabhi Khaya Kya had uploaded the video of a Fire & Chocolate Panipuri from Kailashnagar Society, Mehsana, Gujarat.
