Saudi Arabia, Mauritius & 5 Other Countries Are Now Accepting Visa Applications From India

A lot of destinations are now opening up for travellers from India following the drop in COVID-19 cases. And while many countries are accepting visa applications for students, many other countries are now open to all category of travellers. Here is a list of countries accepting visa applications from India.

1. Mauritius

As Mauritius opens its doors for travellers on July 15, Indians can opt for visas upon arrival option. To apply for a visa, you would need a confirmed return ticket, proof of hotel booking. You can also apply for a long-stay premium visa that will allow you to stay in Mauritius for up to a year. To qualify for a Premium visa, you must be able to produce proof of your long-stay plans, accommodation, and the purpose of your visit. You must also have sufficient travel and health insurance.

2. Saudi Arabia

Indians holding a valid US, UK, or Schengen visa travelling by the Saudi national carrier for tourism will avail visa-on-arrival in Saudi Arabia. However, such travellers should have visited the visa-issuing country before landing at any Saudi airport. Only those above 18 years old or above can apply for a visa. For those below 18 should have a guardian when applying for the visa.

3. USA

A lot of students from India have been waiting to travel to the US. The US embassy is, therefore, gearing up to hold more visa interviews than it did before the pandemic said a top official at the US Embassy in India. As the total number of cases drop in India after the second wave, the US government is looking to re-start the immigration process.

4. Armenia

Indians can apply for an e-visa to Armenia. To apply for a visa, you will require your air ticket, hotel reservation, invitation, travel/medical insurance, and proof of sufficient funds. 5. Ukraine

Indian nationals are eligible for e-visa to Ukraine valid for up to 30 days. You need to apply for a visa at least a week or two before the date of departure. Visa on arrival is currently not available for Indians.

6. Zambia

Indians are eligible to apply for e-visas to Zambia. Tourists are entitled to a free 90-day visit in any period of 12 months that starts from the day of first entry into Zambia. On the other hand, the business visitors will be entitled to a free 30-days visit in any period of 12 months.

7. Tanzania

Indians are eligible for E-visa which is a single-entry visa, valid for 90 days. If you are applying at an Embassy/Consulate, the visa processing takes a minimum of five working days.
