Cyclone Remal: UAE-India Flights Cancelled Due To Storm Warning In Kolkata, India

On May 26 and 27, several flights between the UAE and India faced cancellations. This disruption follows Kolkata Airport Authority’s decision to halt all flight operations for 21 hours, starting at midnight on May 26 until 9 AM on May 27. The suspension is due to Cyclone Remal making landfall.

Dubai Flights Impacted

Emirates and flydubai flights between Dubai and Kolkata also faced disruptions. An Emirates spokesperson confirmed that flights EK 572/573 on May 26 and EK 570/571 on May 27 were cancelled. Flydubai reported delays for flights FZ 461/462, scheduled to operate on May 27 instead of May 26.
