Cyprus, the picturesque middle-eastern island country in the Mediterranean Sea is replete with natural beauty and historic charm. In a massive development, vaccinated travellers or those who have recovered from the virus can enter Cyprus if they hold an EU Digital COVID-19 Vaccination or Recovery Certificate. The rule will apply to travellers of all nationalities from all countries. They will not be required to undergo self-isolation or quarantine or receive a special permit, as stated by Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Yiannis Karousos.

What Are The New Rules For International Travel To Cyprus?
- Cyprus will consider incoming travellers vaccinated if they have taken the third dose or booster dose of the vaccine / two-doses of a two-dose vaccine/ one dose of a single-dose vaccine.
- Travellers must have received their final doses of vaccine at most nine months before the journey. Accepted vaccines in Cyprus as AstraZeneca, Moderna, Sputnik V, Janssen, Covaxin, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Pfizer and Nuvaxovid. Sputnik Light will be accepted as a booster dose.
- Travellers who have recovered from COVID-19 need to produce a certificate issued by a nation included in the European Union Digital Certificate System COVID (EUDCC). The first positive diagnosis must be done at most 180 days before travel.
- Those fulfilling the above criteria do skip pre-travel COVID-19 tests for travelling to Cyprus.
- Vaccinated travellers visiting Cyprus can skip quarantine and self-isolation.

Can Unvaccinated People Travel To Cyprus?
The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control has set categories for several countries for travel amid the pandemic. Unvaccinated travellers to Cyprus or those who have recovered from COVID-19 must follow the rules for the category in which their countries are listed. The rules are as follows:

Red | 72-hour PCR test or a 24-hour rapid test, PCR test on arrival ( own expense) |

What Is CyprusFlightPass?
All travellers must complete the application of CyprusFlightPass 48 hours before the commencement of travel. Also, they will be subject to random COVID-19 testing on arrival. Meanwhile, Thailand May Resume Quarantine-Free Travel From February 1 As COVID Cases Drop.
