Delhi Girl Triptii Dimri Takes Her Bad Newz Co-stars Vicky Kaushal & Ammy Virk To Delhi’s Iconic Moolchand Parantha

Ahead of the much-awaited Dharma romcom Bad Newz, Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri are painting the town red with their camaraderie. From the foot-tapping dance number Tauba Tauba that has taken over our Insta feed to Vicky-Ammy’s bromance, there’s a lot for fans to look forward to. The promotions for the film brought the cast to the capital and they couldn’t proceed without a mandatory stop at the iconic Moolchand Parantha.

Ask South Delhiites their go-to spot for their morning brekkie fix, and Moolchand Parantha would be a resounding name. Nestled near Moolchand metro station, this 50-year-old dhaba is a favourite amongst college students and foodies for late-night hangouts. The crispy golden parathas cradling perfectly spiced filling, topped with white butter has even the health-conscious leaning in for a second bite.

Delhiite Triptii Dimri had to get her Bad Newz co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk to this iconic spot in Delhi. Vicky shared a reel where he asks Triptii where has she brought the boys. “Moolchand ke Paranthe, parathe khaane keliye,” she smiles. Ammy excitedly interrupts, “Delhi aaye hai, chhoti-moti gal nahin hai.” Well, it definitely isn’t a small thing to have the Bad Newz cast placing orders at the famous Moolchand as onlookers gasp in shock.

Here’s What The Stars Ordered

So, what did your favourite stars order at Moolchand? Triptii ordered her favourite Aloo Pyaaz Parantha. Ammy leaned into the comforting Gobi Parantha. And Vicky decided to pack his dish with protein, so, it was Paneer Parantha for the actor. And of course, the team ordered three lassi to wash down the buttery goodness. “Dilli ki ladki ghumaane laayi hume” (Delhi girl is taking us around), says Vicky.

Vicky shared a drool-worthy closeup of his dish. A perfectly golden fresh out of the tandoor parantha sat on his plate. Accompaniments like achaar (pickle) and chutney were served with the stuffed bread. Well, the actors certainly devoured every bite of the dish that exuberated with flavours of Delhi.
