Delhi’s Taj Mahal Hotel Is Serving The Best Wines From Around The World On Wednesdays

When was the last time you sipped on a delicious South African wine sitting in the heart of Delhi? Or how about having to taste a limited edition red-wine, that is only available at vineyards? Can’t put a finger on it, can you? If you like wine, like we do, then Ricks at Taj Mahal Hotel is bringing a special collection of wines to you.

What Is It?

Ricks is named after the star of Casablanca, Rick Blaine. A chic and urban lounge, this bar will take you back in time. But talking about the present, they have something extremely exciting going on, that makes your mid-week blues go away with a sip.

Every Wednesday, they showcase the finest and exclusive selection of wines, across both red and white labels that are known around the world. From South Africa to Australia, to even selective Indian wines that are not available at some of the most exquisite liquor stores in the city; make their way to Taj Mahal Hotel every Wednesday.

What’s More?

What compliments wines best? Cheese! From cheddar to blue-cheese, along side a collection of crackers and olives, takes the experience of the wine on your palate up by a notch. If you are a regular wine drinker, or on your first sip, then this is an ideal place for you to spend your Wednesday evenings. The best part, the per glass cost for these exquisite wines start from just ₹500. Can’t hold yourself back now, can you?

For those who can identify each grape, from merlot to sauvignon, you’ll be in for a surprise every Wednesday, as the selection changes on a regular basis. And if you’ve always been interested in understanding the craft of wine drinking and the complimenting cheeses, then the staff will be more than happy to guide you as well.

Wine Wednesdays start at 5PM and are on till 9PM. That doesn’t mean that the fun stops there, but on a weekday, we’d suggest we call it an early night.
