Brand New Heliport Opens In Dubai To Fly The Ultra-Rich & Leaders Across The City

When your fleet of supercars just won’t do to avoid the traffic, you get on a helicopter to make it to your meeting on time. This is why Dubai gets a brand new heliport to fly the ultra-rich and business leaders to their essential meetings on-time across the city.

Dubai International (DXB), the world’s busiest international airport, has just made food ordering and duty-free shopping even easier. Say hello to DXB&More- the region’s first mobile food, beverage and retail ordering service. The new system allows guests to make the most of their time before catching a flight by getting comfortable and reaching for their mobile and having the best of the airport retail and restaurant offering delivered directly.

What Is DXB&More?

DXB&more is a regional first mobile food, beverage and retail ordering service that provides a smooth, convenient alternative to shopping, dining in or waiting for an order to go, without the need to download an app.

How To Use DXB&more

Airport guests travelling from DXB’s Terminal 3, B and C gates, can access the new proposition via the WOW-fi landing page, QR codes around the airport or DXBmore.com.

Once online, the process is simple and menus from DXB’s favourite restaurants and a great variety of Duty Free shopping – including perfumes, beauty and technology – is available to browse and order. You then have two options when finalising your purchase- have it delivered directly to your gate or lounge, or to collect it yourself from the outlet.

Why DXB&more

The creation of DXB&more was in direct response to the ever-evolving needs of the busy traveller, providing a convenient alternative to shopping and dining before a flight.

Eugene Barry, EVP Commercial at Dubai Airports, who championed the implementation of the proposition said; “We are always looking at ways to positively improve the experience our guests have at DXB, whether through the introduction of new retail and restaurant offerings, or through services and experiences like DXB&more. Over the past year we have spent time thinking about the future of travel, the type of journey our guests will want going forward and how the travel retail environment needs to adapt to cater for these changes.”

The DXB airport will see the platform develop into an all-encompassing digital DXB experience, bringing together digital entertainment partners, more shopping and live experiences to guests already in the airport and those who are due to travel.
