Dubai Esports & Games Festival (DEF 2023) is all set to come back to the city this June. Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) announced this news, and we are thrilled. The event intends to showcase Dubai’s status as a major worldwide esports and gaming hub, the video game industry, and interactive technology-driven entertainment. The second iteration of the Dubai Esports and Games Festival, which debuted in 2022, is expected to be even bigger and better. 

Dubai Esports & Games Festival DEF 2023

The much-awaited Dubai Esports and Games Festival is finally coming back to the city. It will be held from June 21 to June 25 at the South Halls, Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City. 

The festival will feature many interactive events. It will include interactive consumer shows, influencer challenges, B2B networking events, regional and influencer eSports tournaments, and business conferences. The B2B networking event will help connect companies across the globe. 

In addition, the festival will host the GameExpo Summit, sponsored by PG Connections. It will provide a place for regional leaders to exchange ideas on how to continue to fuel the gaming industry’s rapid expansion. The Play Beyond! event, a brand-new addition to DEF 2023, brings influential people from around the world into the mix.

It Will Be Build Upon The Success Of The Festival In 2022

Dubai Esports & Games Festival was launched in 2022, and this year’s second edition is all set to be bigger and better than ever. It will build upon the success of DEF 2022 with an updated GameExpo Summit and a bigger GameExpo space for gamers. 

An outstanding conference experience with more components, more international speakers, and collaborative sessions with the Dubai Future Foundation will be presented by the worldwide gaming industry. It offers a tremendous opportunity to participate in gaming both locally and globally.  It serves as a regional substitute for internationally renowned events like Gamescom, G-Star, and China Joy.

A fascinating Minecraft Education Challenge will be there for students to participate in. There will also be a MakeCode competition where participants will showcase their coding and gaming skills.
