Dubai Gets A New 60s-Inspired Speakeasy Bar With Views Of Burj Khalifa & Downtown Dubai

Gone are the days of choosing ambiance that involves minimal interiors. It’s time to pick some vibrant colorful venues for your party nights. Here’s a new outdoor dining destination for people in Dubai. On Wednesday, December 22, Basko, a Mediterranean restaurant and speakeasy-style bar inspired by the 1960s, will debut in The Opus, Business Bay. Basko will be open daily from 12 pm to 1 am.

What’s New?

Basko is a perfect place if you want a dining experience in Dubai that is bright and charming and also includes a busy outdoor terrace with sights of Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa. Basko is sure to grab your eyeballs with its attractive prints-on-prints and clashing hues in all the right places.

Apart from the outdoor dining, Basko also offers you with beautiful indoor experience that embraces a live robata kitchen and bar. Langoustine risotto, frog Provençal, prime rib, and lobster fregola are examples of Mediterranean-inspired food that can be found in this venue designed by Lazaro Rosa Violan.

Where Art Meets Food..

The restaurant’s style is defined by artistic touches. It’s easy to find abstract artworks hung across the full wall. The Ruby crimson tassels fall from the ceiling to form a rose-like artwork that is surely unmissable. And then we have a chandelier-adorned spiral staircase to the tiny speakeasy bar.

On this New Year’s eve, the restaurant is set to curate a special menu to enhance the celebrations. A wide range of cocktails by world-class mixologists would be on the list in this restaurant. It’s the perfect spot to ignite your tastebuds in Dubai.
