The survey was conducted by cheaphotels.org & the results showed Miami Beach hotels as the most expensive in the world, priced at AED 1,031 per night. Second in place is Sydney at AED 1,007, closely followed by Dubai.
Other cities among the top 10 ranked in order after Dubai are New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, New York City, Hong Kong, Nashville, Edinburgh, Amsterdam.
Alternatively, the most affordable destination according to the survey is Bogota, the capital of Columbia in South America, where you can find hotel rates at just AED 99 per night around New Year’s Eve. Other budget-friendly options include Buenos Aires in Argentina, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Hanoi in Vietnam, with rates of less than AED 183 per night.
