For all the fellow travellers wanting to visit Dubai, before planning your trip, here are a few things you must keep in mind. The process for acquiring visas should be started a good 20 days prior to the trip as it may become tedious if you miss out on any step. The application takes time depending on the visa type and attaching appropriate documents is mandatory for Dubai Visa

Visa On Arrival In Dubai – Visa On Arrival is not available for Indians, hence they will have to opt for a visa prior to their visit to the country.

Types of Dubai Visa:
Based on the reason for your travel, the type of visa will differ. You may take the visas from the below-listed types and you will have to plan your trip well in advance.

Duration of stay- 96 hours – If you are planning a stay for less than 3-4 days, then this visa type is very applicable for you. This visa may be taken by people who are visiting for a business trip and wanted to stay for more than 2 days. It can also be taken for people who are taking a short tour to Dubai and maybe moving to a different holiday destination. The validity of this visa is for a month

Duration of stay- 14 days- This visa type allows a 2 week stay in Dubai and this visa cannot be extended beyond 14 days and it’s validity will also be 14 days. The UAE laws are pretty strict and I strongly suggest you plan your trip well so that you will not face any last minute crisis.

Duration of stay -30 days – This visa type allows entry only for 30 days and its validity is for 58 days from the date and can be extended twice for 30 days each. (Please Note: You will be charged for the extension fee each time)

Duration of stay- 90 days
– This visa is mostly taken by travellers who are planning to visit for a longer time. 3 months of visa for Dubai can be used by ones who are travelling to visit family, friends, relatives or just for a holiday. The validity of this visa is for 58 days from the date of issue and is extendable twice for 30 days each after completion of 90 days. (Please Note: You will be charged for the extension fee each time)

Duration of stay – 48 hours–  UAE actually provides a visa for 48 hours (Provide information on Single Entry, including the date of entry and exit). These kinds of visas are usually used for meetings, conferences, and business trips. This 48-hour visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Multi-Entry Long Term Visa- 30 Days – With this visa, you are allowed entry into UAE multiple types with a validity of 58 days from the date of issue and can be extended twice for 30 days from the date of issue.

Multi-Entry Short Term Visa- 90 Days- If you are having a longer stay and want to visit UAE multiple times in those 90 days, you must opt for this visa. The validity of this visa is 58 days from the date of issue and is extendable twice for 30 days each. (Please Note: You will be charged for the extension fee each time)

Application Form- This is a 4-page long form and very easy to fill. You are required to download the form, fill in the required details, attach relevant documents and carry it when you have scheduled your appointment at the visa centre. Here is the link –

Visa Fee- Visa fees will vary according to the type of visa you choose and here are the details:

96-hour visa₹2,850 and ₹4,470 (Express Visa Fees)
14 days Single entry short-term visa- ₹5,690 and ₹7,310 (Express Visa Fees)
30 days Single entry short-term visa- ₹5,690 ₹7,310 (Express Visa Fees)
30 Days Multi-Entry Short Term Visa- ₹13580
90 days visa – ₹14,100
90 Days Multi-Entry Long Term Visa- ₹34300
48 hours Visa- ₹820

Dubai Visa For Indians

Documents Required For Dubai Visa: 
Passport with a six-month validity, Application Form (Make sure you carry at least 2 copies), 2 recently clicked photographs, booked hotel details, ticket details, Original and photocopy of Income Tax Returns and photocopy of pan card, Original and photocopy of Investment documents, Investment amounting 5 lakhs or above in form of fixed deposit.
Please Note –  Whoever travelling for business, must have a letter stating the name of the applicant, purpose, and duration of the stay. Also, a letter from the company from UAE giving the details of the business.
Student Visa- Whoever travelling for study purposes to Dubai, will require basic documents and along with that NOC letter from parents, photo identity of parents and ID card from college.
