Lahore and Karachi are the two biggest cities in Pakistan. The two cities have always had this sporting rivalry between them. While Karachi has a sea, Lahore is blessed with Badshahi Mosque. On Sunday, England’s stand-in skipper Moeen Ali was asked about the food he liked better among the two cities. To this, the cricketer said that he was disappointed by Lahore’s food but found Karachi’s food really nice.

With a commanding 67-run victory in their Twenty20 championship match on Sunday, England concluded its first trip to Pakistan in 17 years and won the thrilling seven-match series 4-3. After the match, in the post-match conference, Moeen Ali was asked several questions about the stay and other facilities they were provided during the series. One of the reporters asked him if he tasted any delicious food from Pakistan, to which Moeen’s reply sparked a food war. Moeen said that food wise he has been a little bit disappointed in Lahore but found the Karachi food nice. He was also asked about the security offered by Pakistan to which he replied that he found the security outstanding.

England Wins The Twenty20 Series
Dawid Malan hammered his first half-century of the series with a score of 78 not out off 47 balls. Harry Brook scored 46 runs off 29 balls without losing. Both added beautifully to England‘s impressive score of 209-3, which included three missed catches. During the post-match conference, Moeen Ali praised his team and their efforts in winning the series. England beat Pakistan by 67 runs and won the trophy for the seventh twenty20 match series. The two largest cities in Pakistan, Karachi and Lahore, are renowned for producing the best players in the world. Everyone has observed the rivalry between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
