Taking to YouTube, the director shared a very special recipe to prepare her mum’s favourite dish, Parsi-style Anda Ki Akuri. The texture of this delicacy is quite similar to everyday scrambled eggs but tastes completely different. Rich in the deliciousness of cheese and butter, this recipe needs only two spices; salt and black pepper powder. Sounds appetising, right?

Here’s The Recipe For Parsi-Style Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • Eggs
  • Potato
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Green chillies
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper powder
  • Milk
  • Cheese
  • Butter
  • Bread

Method:

  • Start preparing this Parsi-style scrambled eggs recipe by dicing a potato in small sizes.
  • Also, chop onion, tomato, and coriander leaves.
  • Add oil to a kadhai and fry chopped onions.
  • Once the colour changes to light brown, add potatoes. Cover with a lid and slow cook for a few minutes till small diced potatoes soften.
  • Next, add chopped tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes.
  • Add water, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, and salt to the kadhai. Cover it again with a lid and let all the ingredients cook well.
  • Meanwhile, whisk 3-4 eggs and mix it with 2-3 tbsp milk and black pepper powder.
  • Pour the mixture slowly into the cooked onion and tomato.
  • Add grated cheese to all the ingredients and slow-cook everything gently. Make sure to keep stirring.
  • Lastly, add a dollop of butter, mix well, and yummy Ande Ki Akuri is ready to be served.
  • Toast bread slices and put butter on them.
  • Garnish them with delicious scrambled eggs and tabasco sauce and enjoy!
