With flowers, paintings, and themed ornamental columns adorning the temple town, Ayodhya is ready for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival on Saturday, December 30. Gaurav Dayal, the divisional commissioner of Ayodhya, stated that despite heavy fog in the city over the previous two days, all plans were proceeding as planned for the visit. From the airport and railway station inauguration to launching Amrit Bharat, here’s all you need to know about the PM’s visit to Ayodhya.

Ayodhya All Decked Up For PM Modi’s Visit

Before the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple on January 22, Modi will be greeted by a variety of groups of artists from across India as he arrives in Ayodhya to open the newly constructed Maharishi Valmiki International Airport and the renovated Ayodhya Dham Railway Station.

Between the airport and the train station, Modi is anticipated to conduct a roadshow and accept the well wishes of the Ayodhya community. At several key spots in the temple town, large posters featuring Modi’s picture and a greeting to the “holy city of Ayodhya” have been put up.

While Mohit Mishra from Kashi will beat a Damru, Vaibhav Mishra from Ayodhya will blow conches to greet the PM on Ramla Lalla’s land. Awadhi and Vantangiya art forms will be presented by numerous artists.

Sahaj Singh Shekhawat of Gorakhpur will perform Vantangiya dance, while Brajesh Pandey of Sultanpur and Ragini Mitra of Noida will showcase Awadhi folk dance.
