Soon, you can travel in a double-decker airplane from Abu Dhabi to Seoul, thanks to Etihad’s ultra-luxurious airbus operations. The services will start from 1 July 2019.

What’s It?

Abu Dhabi’s national carrier Etihad airways just added another flight route and this one’s super fancy! Wondering why? Here’s the reason. With the increasing number of travelers to and from South Korea, Etihad Airways has deployed a larger aircraft on the Abu Dhabi-Seoul route.

Starting July 1, the double-decker Airbus – A380 will Abu Dhabi and South Korea’s capital city Seoul.

This is the aircraft’s fifth destination after London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, New York JFK, and Sydney.

Etihad’s A380 is well equipped with different categories of luxury and economy classes, catering to the taste of the travelers. The super-luxury class includes The Residences (a three-room cabin) and nine private First Class Apartments alongside business class studios, economy, Economy Space and Economy Smart seats.

What Else?

‘The Residence’ by Etihad is a suite that comes with a living room, a separate bedroom, and an en suite shower room. Spanning over an area of 125 square feet, the suite is designed to accommodate one or two passengers.

And, it’s not just the suite that gets incorporated into the Etihad’s luxury range. The first class section also gets an upgrade on Etihad A380 with the First Apartment. Upholstered with the Poltrona Frau leather, the ottoman in the first class opens out into an 81-inch long bed. When travelling with a partner, the divider between apartments can be lowered to join the rooms. Airbus B787, another new Airbus by Etihad, comes with a similar First Suite to enjoy uncompromised privacy behind closed doors.
