And India is on the verge of unveiling the best of its remote destinations to the world. The country’s tourism ministers met in Dharamshala to discuss their respective state tourism strategies. Among them, CM Jai Ram Thakur spoke of Himachal Pradesh and its immense scope of expanding tourism. Here’s everything you need to know about what will be new in Himachal Pradesh.

6 New Areas Of Tourism In Himachal

For Himachal to further accentuate its tourism within the travel community in India and the world, it has identified six major themes. These include adventure, religion, nature, weekend, rural and tribal, which will boost tourism in the state. The CM further said that adventure sports in Himachal, too, will be thoroughly promoted. For the unversed, Himachal Pradesh Tourism does all its bits to encourage adventure and eco-spots for travel and adventure enthusiasts. Moreover, a broader focus will be given to promoting new travel destinations in this hilly state.

New National Tourism Policy For India

Apart from discussing Himachal Tourism strategies, Union Tourism minister, G Kishan Reddy also emphasised on the need to promote domestic tourism in India. This kind of promotion will further the prospects of more international tourists exploring India’s rich land and culture. All the respective states took part in this national conference in Dharamshala to show their vision towards the tourism in their respective states.
