From Biryani With Chips To Tabasco Sauce With Bread Jam, These Are The Weird Food Combinations Jennifer Winget Has Tried

The stunning actor Jennifer Winget met our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for this fabulous episode of Tere Gully Mein. This time, it was Jennifer who took us to her favourite and underrated spots around her gully in Versova while conversing about her half-Christian-half-Punjabi roots. We learned that Jennifer loves to indulge in weird food combinations and these are some of her go-to dishes; read on.

Jennifer Winget Loves To Eat These Weird Food Combinations

On our food trail, we went to the stunning The Backyard Brew in Versova. While Jennifer was boasting about the beauty of this eatery, a delish-looking Thai Crunch Salad was served to us. The actor was all heart-eyes for this dish and was excited to dig in.

Before doing so, she revealed that she loves having something crunchy with her food. Kamiya commented how it isn’t an uncommon thing. She also confessed that she loves to pair chips with her biryani or pulao.

This prompted Kamiya to ask her about other weird food combinations that she loves. We were in for a ride as Jennifer seemed to love mixing things up. She was a little embarrassed at first but revealed that she enjoys toasted bread slathered with a generous amount of butter, a dollop of apricot jam with lots of Tabasco sauce. Woah! Do you want to try this?

Jennifer elaborated, “This weird combination is my holiday food, I don’t eat this every day. It’s sweet, spicy, tangy; it’s like an explosion of flavours in your mouth!” This “holiday food” of hers needs to be prepared in a specific manner.

She told us that the bread shouldn’t be burnt, it should be toasted just right. When it comes to jam, she can’t just slather any jam, it has to be apricot. Strawberry jam is a no-no for her. The butter should be room temperature and there should be plenty of Tabasco sauce. Would you try this?
