Most of us like to go backpacking in Himachal on a long weekends. Seclude ourselves from the city’s chaos and unwind sitting in a forest surrounded by pine trees. And when you get to do that under a budget, it is like being served your favourite dessert, with a cherry on top.
Camp near Kasol
Hermit’s Camp is located at a distance of 7 kms from Kasol. It is a beautiful campsite that gives you a breathtaking view of valleys and mountains of Himachal Pradesh. For the thrill-seeking adventurers, this is an ideal location. Situated on a hill-top, surrounded by villages and with quite a few trekking trails in around, there is no way, one can return from dissatisfied.
If you want to explore the local Himachali culture and cuisines, all you have to do is request the hosts. They organise various activities where you get to interact with locals and try the local delicacies as well.
They also have an orchard, where you can take a stroll in the evening, if you want to step out for a bit. However, if you would like to just sit back, relax and make the most of the panoramic view and fresh air, we suggest, that’s an equally good idea.
The facilities provided are quite basic, but comfortable. The campsite has everything to offer that a backpacker would need. In fact, they also have common space where you can interact with other travellers and share your stories as you sip on a hot cup of chai.
Well… who said you need a long weekend to go on a holiday? Why not pack your bags and head to the mountains now?
