The state is very much dependent on the dam reservoir and is also a known tourist attraction. The reservoir’s water level is currently 138.68 metres above its maximum level, or 138.62 metres, which is.06 metres. Increase In The Tourist Footfalls

Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan are the four Indian states to whom the Sardar Sarovar Dam was built to supply water and energy. The fact that the reservoir is at capacity is also good news for the state’s agriculture industry. The reservoir, with a water reserve of 4.93 million acre-foot or 5.76 lakh crore litres, will ensure that Gujarat won’t experience any water shortages over the course of the summer next year. There has been an increase in the footfalls of tourists with plush greenery in the surrounding and the dam being full for 3 years now. The State of unity is also one of the reasons for the increased footfall.
