This inspection was conducted by the authorities recently. Sadly, the task force team of Commissioner found these places not following all the much-needed guidelines and norms efficiently. According to a report by The Hindu, the evaluation at the Sarath City Mall was on a total of 4 eateries to check if they adhere to all the necessary rules of hygiene and safety maintenance.

The concerned authorities discovered improper things at all these 4 eateries located inside the Sarath City Mall. One of the restaurants scrutinised by the Food Safety Department’s task force team of Commissioner was Firefly Restaurant. Operated by Rejoy Enterprises, this eatery had the issue of hygiene and pest control, as per the report. The eatery failed at these necessary regulations. The team conducting the inspection there also took away water bottles of about ₹9000. They decided to take the bottles as there was no proper manufacturer’s BIS license.

Sarath City Mall in Hyderabad has an outlet for Taco Bell. While inspecting this eatery, the Food Safety Department found some problems with the oil management procedures. They also discovered how the outlet only took note of the Total Plate Count (TPC) records during the beginning and closing of every day. This practise is believed to be unsafe and unhealthy as it may have the possibility of going beyond the allowable limit, especially during the rush of weekends.
