Airbnb To Launch AI Travel Agent To Plan Your Holiday In 2027; How It Will Work

Airbnb is now building a smart digital travel helper powered by Artificial Intelligence, which will help you plan and book your entire holiday. This AI assistant will make it easier for you to find destinations, choose places to stay and even plan your activities. Here’s what we know about this amazing feature so far.

Airbnb To Launch AI Travel Assistant

Travel planning is all set to get easier with Airbnb’s AI travel assistant, which will soon upgrade how you book your holidays. According to India Today, the company is working on a new digital tool that will help users explore places, compare stays, plan itineraries and book their entire trips. Wait till you know more! Airbnb also plans to use this AI feature to assist travellers with issues they may face during holidays, from changing reservations to getting refunds.

The AI travel agent has not launched yet, but the company plans to launch it in the first half of 2027. This new launch is expected to help many travellers plan their holidays seamlessly with minimal problems. We all know that planning a trip requires a lot of browsing and thinking, and this feature aims to make that easier.

How Will The New Feature Work?

According to India Today, this travel agent won’t just be a chatbot like those on other apps. Instead of simply answering users’ queries through text, it will bring up different travel options in a visual format so that users can understand them better. They will be able to browse photographs, compare properties and explore destinations before deciding where to go.

Travellers looking for a holiday stay will also be able to see maps, property photos, calendars and suggested itineraries. According to Airbnb, this AI travel agent will use hundreds of travel-specific interface elements, putting together the ones that are relevant to a user’s search. Moreover, the agent will also help travellers resolve payment issues, request refunds, rebook stays and get round-the-clock safety support.
