Anushka Sharma met Krishna Das, born Jeffrey Kagel, a Grammy-nominated American vocalist renowned for his soulful kirtan (devotional chanting) performances. He became a devotee of the Hindu spiritual teacher Neem Karoli Baba in the 1970s and is widely known as the ‘Yoga Rock Star’ for bringing traditional Indian devotional music to a global audience.
