After just 30 minutes of rain, Gurgaon turned into a sea, and netizens are now criticising the city’s infrastructure and drainage system. According to Moneycontrol, Gurgaon received around 82 mm of rainfall during its first major spell of monsoon on July 7, and in no time, the roads were flooded with overflowing water. The waterlogged roads led to severe traffic congestion across the city, leaving commuters stranded for hours. A video posted by an X user, @ErRahul337, shows the impact of the rain in Gurgaon.
This is what moderate rainfall does to #Gurugram (Peach Tree Road in C-Block, Sushant Lok-1). It is a tough competition with Venice. Every year, the same problem.@cmohry @MunCorpGurugram pic.twitter.com/qwPkv4bAQp
