Indians Enjoy Travel Plans Around Seasonal Experiences & Not Cheap Flights!

In a recent survey by Klook, it has been revealed that majority of Indians enjoy travelling around seasonal activities instead of booking economical flights or cheap hotels.

What Is It?

Based on the Klook survey, a majority of Indian travellers refrain from booking flights and hotels that have offersfor cheap tickets. They prefer to focus on experiences and enjoy travelling during seasonal activities like concerts, sporting events, watching the Northern Lights or celebrating a specific festival of their destination.

Amongst others, Halloween, ski festivals, and Christmas are a major attraction for 52 percent of Indian tourists. According to, another travel platform, 45 percent of travellers have a travel bucket list and 82 percent of them tick off one or more items on their list this year.


Klook’s survey was conducted among 2,400 respondents who had travelled abroad in the past 12 months.
