Digital content creator Paramjeet Singh has created a diss track for tinde on the back of the Vicky Kaushal-Karan Aujla track Tauba Tauba. The result? A song that probably most desis would relate to as it shows mums force-feeding their kids tinde. In his signature comedic delivery, Singh dances and with a playful tone shows his preference for burgers and pizzas over the gourd.

The relatable humour and witty lyrics have captured the collective dissent for tinde and the n number of dals prepared at desi households. “Chup chap kha jaa (Just eat quietly),” says his mother in the track as he keeps complaining to her about the tinde, tori and lauki being served. He’d much rather prefer paneer. There’s also a hilarious daily menu stuck on the fridge that shows chana dal, lauki dal, tinde, karele and nothing much to his interest.

Singh’s mother sportingly plays along, swooshing a lauki in front of him, threatening him to have his meal. The creator imitates Vicky Kaushal’s moves to push away a plate of tinde tori. His mother keeps pushing the plate towards him, but he looks for a way to escape the gourds. Looks like this Tauba Tauba version struck a “gourd” with Netizens.
One person even called it the “best version” of the song. Domino’s asked if they should make a “tinde wala pizza” for his mom. Swiggy Instamart’s handle chimed in saying, he made an entire diss track for the veggie. Another person joked about this song sounding better than the original.
Well, as a tinde fan, I do take a little offence. But have to say, creativity peaked here!
