Infra Projects In Oman’s Al Buraimi Industrial City Is Now 98% Complete

The infrastructure development project in Al Buraimi Industrial City in Oman is almost complete. The completion rate of this project has reached 98 percent so far. With this speed, the project is expected to be completed in the near future. Al Buraimi is situated close to the UAE city of Al Ain, on the actual boundary between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

Project In Al Buraimi Industrial City

The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates “Madayn” awarded the infrastructure development project in Al Buraimi Industrial City in June 2021 for a total of more than OMR5.5 million, according to the Director-General of Al Buraimi Industrial City, Said Abdullah Al Balushi. 

The establishment of a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 400 cubic metres per day, the paving of several roads in the first area totaling about 2 kilometres in length, and the construction of a 35-kilometre-long sewage network that covers the first and second areas of the industrial city are all included in the project, he continued.

The project also comprises an irrigation network that extends from the wastewater treatment plant to pass through the first area and finally reach the second area, as well as rainwater drainage canals with a combined length of 8 km in the first and second areas. (As per Times Of Oman)

The Project Will Soon Be Completed

Sewage networks and lines are being built as part of Al Buraimi Industrial City’s development and building project in Oman. 

The project will also see the growth of a brand-new area of the industrial city with all essential amenities, including roads, water, sewage, power, and lighting networks. 

Eng. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Mayasi stated that large-scale projects will revitalise small and medium-sized businesses by obtaining work from the main contractor, which is a requirement for Madayn tenders.
