IRCTC Launches 5-Day Tour Covering Kanyakumari, Rameswaram & Madurai At Just ₹9250

Travel enthusiasts, if you wish to travel to Tamil Nadu’s holy pilgrimage sites, then the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) pave the way for your travel plans. IRCTC has launched a 5-day, 4-night pilgrimage tour that covers Kanyakumari, Rameswaram and Madurai. Visit revered temples, pay respect to the divine and go on a trip of a lifetime that shall touch your mind, body and soul.

IRCTC Kanyakumari-Rameswaram-Madurai Package Details

IRCTC’s 5-day, 4-night pilgrimage package in Tamil Nadu starts from ₹9250 per person. It includes the train journey for Comfort Package and Standard Package. It also includes AC accommodations, AC transport, sightseeing as per the itinerary, travel insurance, toll and parking. It excludes catering services both onboard and offboards. And any service that’s not mentioned in the inclusions. The Anatapuri Express shall ferry travellers at 8:10 pm every Thursday for the tour.

Day 1 and Day 2 Itinerary

On Day 1 at 8:10 pm, passengers will depart from Chennai Egmore on Anatapuri Express. At 9:20 am they will arrive at Nagercoil Railway Station. From here, passengers will check into a hotel at Kanyakumari. And then visit the iconic Kumari Amman Temple, Three Seas Mingle Point, Vivekanand Rock Memorial and other renowned places in Kanyakumari. Known for a glorious sunset, clear blue waters and pristine pilgrimage sites, Kanyakumari is a sight to behold.

Day 3, Day 4 & Day 5 Itinerary

After an early morning sunrise sight, passengers will proceed to Rameswaram by road. Rameswaram is home to India’s most venerated Shiva shrines. It’s dedicated to Sri Ramanathaswamy. Day 3 would encompass visiting Tiruchendur Temple and then exploring the holy city in the evening. Start Day 4 by paying respects to Lord Shiva at Rameswaram’s renowned Ramanathaswamy Temple. After this head to Ramarpadam Temple, five faced hanuman temple and Meenakshi Amman Temple. At 11:20 pm board the AnatapuriExpress and reach Chennai Egmore at 7:55 am on Day 5.
