South Korea has issued a specific travel warning for Israel and advised its citizens to escape through a third nation, if at all feasible. The travel recommendations for Israel and Palestine have been updated, according to the British government. Before now, the United Kingdom has issued a strong warning against travelling to Gaza. However, it included other places in Israel close to the Gaza border on Sunday and updated that advice for the entire country.

Australians are advised to stay away from visiting Gaza because of the dire circumstances. A new update to the government’s Smart Traveller website advises people against travelling to any regions close to the Gaza border.

The U.S. Embassy website states that for a sense of security and to stay secure, people should heed local government recommendations. Use this crisis intake form to get in touch with the nearest American embassy or consulate if you’re a U.S. citizen in Israel and need assistance. On behalf of a family member who is an American citizen, family members may also submit information. Before travelling to Ben Gurion Airport, Americans who wish to depart and can do so securely are encouraged to check the status of the border crossings or make sure flights have not been cancelled.
