This Airline Might Not Hire Male Cabin Crew For The Time Being

As Jet Airways is touching back the skies, it is devising new measures to save costs and at the same time offer the best of services. One of those measures includes hiring only female cabin crews for flights so that the airline can save costs on hotel rooms. Hiring both male and female cabin crews would mean assigning separate rooms for the male and female members. If they hire only female cabin crews, they can manage hotel costs with a lesser number of rooms. But as soon as they reach a certain operational scale, they will start hiring male cabin crews as well.

Jet Airways To Hire Male Crew In Future

Jet Airways had ceased operations in 2019 after going bankrupt. Now, the airline is returning to business with an all-new hybrid model. The new CEO of Jet Airways Sanjiv Kapoor said that the airline will employ male cabin crews after they reach a certain operational scale. Kapoor was earlier the CEO of Vistara.

Jet Airways Is Hiring For Operational Roles

Jet Airways is planning to start operations in July. In a recent tweet, the company has also announced that it is hiring for operational roles and has invited applications. In the notice, Jet Airways has told interested applicants to keep an eye on the social media handles of the airline for new openings. It has also encouraged the earlier employees of Jet Airways to reapply in the company.
