This Airline Is Offering Suites In Planes That Look Like Luxury Hotel Rooms

After a hiatus of two long years, the world is back to travelling. With the government easing the rules on travel, people have begun planning their next vacation. Singapore Airlines’ modified A380 aircraft took off from JFK via Frankfurt to Changi airport on March 28. But this time not only the aircraft was in the sky but they had also rocketed the in-flight experience for their passengers into the sky with its luxurious first-class suites.

A Luxury Room In Air

Each suite is equipped with relaxing reclining armchairs, a comfortable bed, 32-inch touchscreen HD TV and sliding doors. Everything in the suite can be controlled on a handheld tablet, be it dimming the lights or switching on entertainment. Apart from this, the suites have comfy pyjamas, slippers, noise-cancelling headphones, Lalique’s amenity kit and a wardrobe chest. Each passenger is offered 50 sqft and a shared 100 sqft if two of them opt to merge.

Turning Basic Into Luxury

The vice president of public relations of the airlines, James Boyd, revealed how the team took everything that is basic and turned it into luxury. The stitching on the rack being inspired by a Hermes Birkin bag or A storage compartment that lights up as you open the door or it being lined with leather is little moments of luxury and surprise that they offer their passengers.

Little Elements Of Surprise Everywhere

Be it offering a compartment for a handbag or hotel-style turndown service or blackout window shades or the meal being served in china or fine linen, everything is taken care of in a very luxurious and surprising manner. The bathroom too is turned into a pampering chamber which has three sections- vanity, washbasin and toilet.

With Such Pampering, You Wish The Flights Were Longer

On this aircraft, 78 lie-flat business class seats, 44 premium economy seats, and 343 economy seats are available, along with six suites for first-class passengers. With such amazing and luxurious amenities, all you will ask for is the flights to be longer so that you could be pampered and surprised more.
