We all at some point in our lives have wanted to live in a huge mansion, with multiple rooms and a rich history. Well, if you have ₹291 crores to spend, you just might be able to. Former US President, John F Kennedy’s vacation home on the French Riviera has just gone up for sale. But, you don’t need to buy the house to know what it has to offer. Let us tell you.

John F. Kennedy’s holiday home on the French Riviera is up for sale, according to The New York Post. The magnificent mansion is listed at $35.5 million, approximately ₹291 Crores. The land stretches to 44 acres in Valbonne and is known as the Domaine de Beaumont. 

The property was a vacation spot for all the Kennedy siblings. Especially during their father, Joseph Patrick Kennedy’s time as the US Ambassador to the United Kingdom from 1938 to 1940. Interestingly, it was in this house that the former US President learned how to swim, reported News18.

Famous French architect Jacques Couelle designed the French Riviera property in 1920. Bruno Grat, the individual who holds the listing, claimed the property to be “truly unique” said reports. The listing is being hosted by the realtor company, Savills.  The Riviera is located just 10 kilometres from the vibrant city of Cannes, offering exceptional grounds and views.

The mansion’s rich history and culture are an added bonus to those looking forward to experiencing its luxury along with a bit of history. Reports also state that the estate comprises several buildings and with the main house spreading over 12,500 square feet. Along with that, the mansion also boasts nine bedrooms.

A grand reception hall with a marble staircase, a formal dining room, a breakfast area, and a spacious living room are also part of the house. Additionally, it offers a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, and an entertainment lounge.

The New York Post also reported that there’s a separate housing facility for staff members and a temperature-controlled wine storage area. The park features a 65-foot heated marble pool, a pool house, ornamental pools, and waterfalls. 

This is accompanied by an olive grove, a tennis court, and flower gardens. The listing also stated that a meadow for horses which can be developed into stables is also a part of the estate. And a quarry for those riding enthusiasts.

Holding the position of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy took over the office in 1961. He was the youngest person to hold the position. But was sadly assassinated in 1963. His death shocked everyone around the world, as it happened in a public setting.
