In this episode of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani got the absolute pleasure of interviewing the queen of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor AKA Bebo. We had a marvellous time relishing delicious Chinese food along with old Bollywood memories. The veteran actress opened up about her passion for food, which is given because she’s Punjabi to the core. She also spoke at length about the importance of being a supportive partner when it comes to parenting.
Kareena Kapoor: Kapoor Khandaan Loves Chinese Food
Sunday Brunches are all about delicious food items and getting to know our guests while relishing them. So, since our guest for this week’s episode was the illustrious Kareena Kapoor, we got her an equally luscious spread of Chinese food. From dim sum to sushi, you name it we had it.
We asked Kareena what a typical brunch looks like at the Kapoor khandaan. And she responded saying that if it’s a family lunch or a dinner, the spread looks exactly like the one that they were having right then.
She went on to talk about how the Kapoor khandaan loves Chinese food and at any given family lunch or dinner, that is what they most love to consume. She also gushed about how much she loved the Chinese typicals like fried rice.
Parenting, Partnership, And Career
It is no secret that Kareena Kapoor is one of the most successful actors in the Indian film industry. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that she was the queen of Bollywood at a point in time. This means that she knows what it takes to manage a thriving career along with other aspects of your life.
She spoke a lot about how important it is to coordinate parenting with your partner. She said that she and Saif Ali Khan have always made sure that despite their busy schedules, there is at least one of them at all times with their children.
She also spoke about how important it is to have a partner who is not just supportive but also understanding of your career choices.
