The six-day festival and spring celebrations will boost the tourism sector in the valley amid Covid-19. The festival will also familiarise the visitors with the valley’s rich tradition and culture. The garden is now open for visitors. Meanwhile, Srinagar is witnessing the warmest March in 131 years. March 2022 was the warmest in the Kashmir valley since 1892.

The Festival Will Have Stalls Promoting The Tradition Of Kashmir

The organisers will set up around 25 stalls on display to promote the rich traditions, culture, cuisines, and crafts of the valley. The majestic tulip garden on the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains is also open to the public. The garden will see over 15 lakh flowers of more than 64 varieties in bloom.

Tweeting about the gorgeous tulip gardens, the Prime Minister said, “Whenever you get the opportunity, do visit Jammu and Kashmir and witness the scenic Tulip festival. In addition to the tulips, you will experience the warm hospitality of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
